Listening to Hair, doing my self portrait (third attempt) and eating chocolate chips by the spoonful. Life is good.
I just got home from the l’ hopital.. and I’ve got the bruise to prove it. This afternoon while I was getting ready for work, I was having coffee.. and it felt like I was getting a bit dizzy. To stop it, I tried taking in a bunch of air, as if that would help. I noticed I was wheezing, but ignored it, and finished my makeup. By the end, my hands were getting reallyyyy itchy.. so then I thought, well, I’m having a reaction. Throwing out my coffee, I got into action! By that, I mean I put the dogs out, finished doing my hair, added some blush, tidied the kitchen, and finally called my mom. Of course, she freaked out, and I started noticing some hives.. so I called the ambulance, wasn’t able to stab myself with the epi-pen (despite the 911 lady’s encouragement). This was all very embarassing.. but I locked the door, put on some matching shoes, grabbed my headphones (not in that order), and got into the ambulance. After that, things were all norms. Checking blood pressure, my wheezing went down, we got to the hospital and life went on. The crazy thing was that the hospital was SO BUSY they couldn’t get me a room. I was on a bed, but in the hallway with three other beds chillin’, because they’d run out of room. Doesn’t that suck. I was given some sort of steroid I need to keep taking for two more days, and then a shot of straight benadryl (holy shit, my bruise). Then I came home, slept, and lazed around forever. Not a very exciting day.. just sad I had to miss work.
In better news! Chloe and I visited Creative Arts this week! It was so nice to see Karen, especially because she wasn’t int he middle of a lesson and was pretty happy to see us too! Dance was great, even though all the other girls are taller/prettier/younger/skinnier than me.. but its still nice to go. Hooopefully I’ll have a bit more of a social life now » I’ve got a movie scheduled with my cousin soonish. If things work out, we should also be watching horror movies within the next week or two. My life is very exciting.
